Election time is just around the corner, and we know you want to make your voice heard! In these ever-changing times, however, more options for voting have emerged. Being safe is very important when you go out to exercise your rights.
Below, we’ve listed the ways you can vote in the 2020 election.
Absentee/Mail-In Voting
An absentee vote and a mail-in vote are the same thing. Mail-in ballots were recently sent out, but if you still want one, it’s not too late to request it! Visit this website to check your voter registration status. If you’re registered, the next screen will give you instructions to request your ballot.
Deadline to request ballot: The deadline to request an absentee ballot is October 29. However, the deadline for receipt of the ballot (not the postmark) is November 3, so unless you know you’ll be able to drop it off in the four following days, you’ll want to request it earlier.
Important Information: One witness will be required to sign your absentee ballot. This witness can be anyone. Your ballot is not valid without this additional signature!
How to return: Return your absentee ballot through the mail, or drop it off at one of the sites listed here.
Instructions: Click here for instructions for filling out your absentee ballot.
