The 2019 SAIL Vendor Fair takes place Friday, November 1 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5701 Raymond Road. Register online here or by calling SAIL at 608-230-4321. Lunch, social time, and a brief program will be provided. This is a popular event, so make sure to get your registration in as soon as you can!
SAIL’s annual Vendor Fair is always an exciting and fun event for SAIL, and one of our best attended! Never been to a Vendor Fair before? Wondering if you should go this year? Here are four reasons to get it on your radar and head out on a Friday morning!
1) Meet the SAIL Service Providers.
This is perhaps the most important reason to attend! SAIL Vendors are a huge part of what we do, and one of our most cherished member benefits. Our Vendors go through a screening process that ensures they are trustworthy, efficient, and provide excellent results. They are often recommended by other SAIL Members as well. This event offers a great opportunity to talk to Vendors one-on-one, ask them questions, see their products, and develop a more personal relationship for your current or future needs. Our Vendors do everything from fulfilling your handyman needs to beautifying your home to helping you downsize and much, much more!
2) Meet and socialize with SAIL Members.
It’s always fun to get out and see your fellow SAIL Members, and the Vendor Fair is one of the best places to do it since so many people attend! Catch up with your SAIL friends, or, if you’re new to SAIL, get to know your fellow Members. Don’t be shy! Grab your lunch and pull up a chair. We want you to always feel welcome!
3) Give back to your community.
Good Shepherd is so kind to host us every year. In lieu of admission to this event, we ask that you bring one canned item to donate to Good Shepherd’s food pantry. Food shortage is a real problem, especially as the holidays approach. You get to meet great people, learn about our Vendors, and make sure you’re supporting families in need.
4) Get some goodies!
Thanks to AARP and the Oakwood Foundation, members will receive Emergency Go-Bags and resources to take home and take the pressure off of living independently. Make sure to grab yours before you leave!
Also note that we have invited our Professional Services Members to attend this event and to be available to members for questions related to estate planning, tax questions/returns, health and other insurance, and more!
Join us on Friday, November 1 for an informative and fun kickoff to Turkey Month!
